Steam engine D18
In terms of color, this model variant represents an absolute innovation: the water-blue base plate was combined with a black boiler housing and a silver-colored unit plate. The flywheel is painted black.
The technology of this machine reflects a combination of the types D20 and D16, to which some technical refinements have been added.

The highly polished and nickel-plated brass kettle has a capacity of 530cc and is equipped with a new small pressure gauge (26mm diameter) and a nickel-plated pressure gauge base.
The condensate is discharged into a container – concealed behind the boiler house. As a result, the chimney smokes naturally.
A dynamo was added to the unit plate, which supplies electricity to the lantern in the rear area, between the boiler and the unit.
The lantern is based on the industrial lights of the turn of the century and illuminates the flywheel during operation.
