The light tank “Vickers” was developed in England in 1928-29. On September 16, 1931, the Poles ordered 22 twin-turret and 16 one-turret machines, but also purchased the licnese for production of the tank. The purchased Vickers Mk. E mod. A tanks differed from the basic English version by the modified form of the machine-gun turrets adapted for setting of the “Gochkis” machine guns used by the Polish army. These tanks took part in fights with Germans.Â
