RPG 1/35 T-80U Main Battle Tank
New manufacturer RPG Scalemodel brings us this nicely detailed kit of the T-80U main battle tank! This tank was developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960s, developed separately from the popularly used T-72. The U suffix indicates it’s the improved version with upgraded armor to improve its defense capability. The engine is a 1,250hp GTD-1250 gas turbine engine, and the navigation system was renewed as well. This tank was used starting in the late 1980s, and it was also used by Korea, China, Cyprus, UAE, etc.Â
